The beaches of Southern California are legendary after having been pictured in films and other forms of media for so many decades. On a sunny and bright day, my camera captured a slice of Santa Monica's iconic shoreline with the wet sand and seagulls in the foreground and the omnipresent tall palms in the background. The waves have just washed up on the shore and as they withdrew, have left behind the reflection of the tips of the palm trees for the lucky observer.
