New York City Skyscapers Architecture Photography, Lower Manhattan Iconic Public Art, Home & Office Wall Decor
If you've been to Lower Manhattan, specifically 140 Broadway, chances are that you've seen the iconic public art installation known as "Red Cube" by artist Isamu Noguchi.
The red shape is tilted onto its vertical axis and is displayed prominently in front of the Brown Brothers Harriman high rise which is flanked by HSBC and Bank of America.
In this monochromatic composition, the only colored object is the red cube. Furthermore, the focus is on triangular shapes: the camera was set to focus on only the top of the red cube and as the eye travels upward, there is an inverted triangle formed by what appears to be the union of the two buildings which are positioned at an angle to one another.
