Florence Italy Ognissanti Church Architecture Print, Firenze Tuscany Italian Art History + Travel Photography, Home & Office Wall Art Decor
The main subject of this photograph is Chiesa di San Salvatore di Ognissanti, a Franciscan church overlooking the Arno River in Florence, Italy. Built in the 1250s, the church was given a major refresh in the early to mid-1600s. This iconic specimen of architecture is famous for many reasons: 1) it's one of the first examples of Baroque architecture to be introduced to the Renaissance era city of Florence and 2) it houses many priceless artistic artifacts in addition to being the place where Botticelli (the painter) is buried.
This is a great print for the architecture aficionado or the wanderlust-filled traveler.
Get this for your own space or give it as a gift to a special someone (who may be celebrating a housewarming).
