A clutch can be more than just a functional accessory in one's wardrobe. In the case of each one these hand-selected pieces, they are incredibly unique works of art.

First up: a printed leather clutch from LA-based designer, Jennifer Weiser's line Jenni Jane. Given that she's originally from Paris, this beautiful clutch is named after the banks of the Seine river, aptly titled "Le Quai de Seine". I happen to own this clutch and just love the soft leather construction. The front flap is printed with a photo of "string of light that was hanging from a boat on the Quai de Seine" and the photo continues to fill the entire back side of the clutch.

If you care about shape and structure in your handbags, you'll be hard-pressed to find something more unique than Cult Gaia's Ark bag, pictured below. The unique half-circle shape constructed of open-weave bamboo makes this a go-to for the summer given that it's so lightweight. Regardless of which size you get (choices of Mini to X-Large), you can rest assured that all eyes will be on your super-stylish and unique accessory.

If bold and colorful prints are your thing, then the beautiful carretto pouch from Dolce & Gabbana is right up your alley. The design is inspired by Sicilian carretto which are wooden carts with long handles traditionally used for transporting farm goods, flowers, etc. True to Italian style, even something so utilitarian is embellished in a beautiful and artistic way.

It's so important to have fun with fashion as it truly is an expression of personal style. These are just a few examples of functional pieces which have great design and a very high level of artistry and would be great additions to anyone's wardrobe collection.
