Early in the morning, surfers head outside and prepare to hunt for the perfect wave. On the morning that this photograph was captured, I was lucky enough to be on the beach (in San Francisco) at the moment that a surfer passed in front of me so that I could capture his reflection on the wet sand as he marched toward the ocean surrounded by a flock of equally eager seagulls.
