This photograph depicts a nighttime winter wonderland captured in Paris during the holiday season. The interior and exterior of the boutiques in the heart of the city are decorated with holiday lights which cause the City of Lights to take on an additional glow. During a quiet night out, all of a sudden, the lightest snow flurries start to fall and melt as they hit the ground. Luckily for the observer, the wet ground captures the reflection of the light which makes the whole scene take on a more magical appearance.

Due to the size of the snow flurries, they're really only visible when standing in close proximity to the print - from far away, it's not obvious that this was a winter scene in Paris.
